First Christian Churches had a wonderful Homecoming Weekend, October 27-28 ! Thanks to all who helped us celebrate this milestone in our life as a congregation!
During our Season of Celebration we were “Reflecting – Celebrating – Envisioning” as you see in our logo. We were reflecting on our past, noticing the bold, visionary leadership that brought us to where we are. We were celebrating the life we have today – the leadership, members, friends, ministries, passion, gifts, compassion, and desire to be faithful to God. We were envisioning how we will build on our past, acknowledge and ignite the passion and gifts we have today in order to build our future as partners with God in bringing God’s “kingdom on earth as it is in heaven.”
